KISAN 2018 : In the year 2018, KISAN expanded its scope to inculcate new ideas and innovations that defined a new trend for agriculture in India. For the first time, KISAN had 2 entrances to welcome its farmers, and made the entire exhibition air conditioned. New Initiatives at KISAN Over these 28 years, many new concepts were introduced and new experiments were executed. Theme AC Pavilions : To serve our framers better and help them locate products of their interest, KISAN show has segregated theme pavilions, like Water Manage- ment, Plasticulture and Protected Cultivation, Agri Input, Tools, Vatika, Pashudhan-Livestock, Agricultural imple- ments, Enterprise. All the domes are made AC for the comfort of the farmers and exhibitors alike. Internatio nal Pavilion: An exclusive pavilion for interna- tional participants to facilitate exchange of knowledge. Companies from China, Taiwan, Russia, Israel, Africa and Greece with small machineries suitable for small land holdings in India participate in the show. SPARK Pavilion for Startups in Agriculture: A launchpad for startups in Agriculture. Most innovative startups across India participate at KISAN to showcase their products and services. Israel Tech-meet: Jointly organised by Ministry of economy and industry, Israel jointly with KISAN Forum organized Israel Agritech Meet in the year 2017. A business delegation of 8 companies offering Agri technology from Israel participated at KISAN platform to seeking partners in India. GreenPass: An online registration facility for visitors. This facility allowed visitors to pre-register their name for KISAN 2018 at a discounted rate. Farmers availed this benefit through website and Green Pass App. Pre-regis- tration facilitated seamless entry in exhibition. Free Wifi facility : to 200,000+ Visitors and 4000+Exhibi- tors. KISAN 2018: A Brief Report KISAN 2018 was organised from 12th to 16th December 2018 at Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Moshi, Pune-Nishik Highway, Pune, INDIA. It was the 28th exhibition in KISAN series. The fair witnessed, 155,000+ visitors coming from across India.
