Steady Export Growth: Taiwanese Motorcycles Actively Expand in Global Markets Data source: Customs import and export statistics, compiled by TTVMA Taiwan Motorcycle Export Volume from January to September 2025 Unit: Per Motorcycle n 2025, Taiwan’s motorcycle exports showed structural adjustments and diversification trends. Although the total export sales declined slightly by about 3% compared to last year, export volume still grew approximately 10%, indicating stable market demand. Japan remained the most significant buyer, while European markets such as Spain and Italy showed notable growth. Exports to Australia surged by 2,900% year-on-year, entering the top five for the first time, highlighting rapid expansion into non-traditional markets. Regarding export volume, markets in the Middle East and Africa indicated strong growth, with the United Arab Emirates and Madagascar both increasing by over 40% annually, reflecting Taiwan motorcycles’ penetration into diverse markets.
