Reimagined Gardens; From Veiwing to Exploring At the same time, IHK2026 expands garden culture with variety contents. Whereas previous editions focused more on gardens as spaces to “see,” IHK2026 program will invite visitors to “explore” - touch, learn, build, and participate. From hands-on workshops and interactive programs will deepen public experience and welcome participation from all ages. Positioning the City as a Floriculture Platform Goyang is the first city designated as a Floriculture Industry Special Zone in Korea, posessing both industrial capability and a rich local ecosystem of growers and distributors. IHK 2026 will leverage these assets to reinforce local identity and support economic sustainability. The Goyang International Expo Foundation (GIEF), organizer of the exhibition, has set a long-term vision to transform Goyang into a sustainable floriculture platform—a city where production, consumption and tourism are all rooted in the floral industry. IHK 2026 aims not only to display flowers but to connect generations and embed horticulture as a living of everyday life.
