Rikulau Premium Grade Chromoly Road/Touring Bike – Promenade
Rikulau has been working with chromoly steel since the early stage of the establishment. But, our existing products have been focusing on road racing purposes. However, chromoly is actually a material very suitable for long distance riding. Therefore, when Rikulau released a newly developed premium grade CrMo steel tubing, we decided to use it on our first long distance road bike – Promenade.
The design of Promenade takes both racing and long distance riding into consideration. Heat treated down tube and chain stays provide better pedaling efficiency; elongated head tube releases stress on the back during long rides; and longer chain stays and rear rack bosses offer more stable ride and possible light touring uses. All the design features combined with material characteristics ensure Promenade play its role responsibly and competently.
Surface treatment on Promenade is another special feature. Environmental friendly titanium-color electro-plating, high-dispersive clear coating and the top coating provide a three-fold anti-rusting protection. Besides, scotch-brite polishing and succinct graphics design add extra-elegance to the bike.

Rikulau Premium Grade CrMo Steel
Released in 2013, Rikulau Premium Grade CrMo steel tubeset is the newest addition to Rikulau family. The raw material, however, is from the renowned Nippon Steel (Japan). Precision extrusion, heat treatment and all other processes are done in Taiwan to assure the precision required by Rikulau. The new tubeset is still a 4130 CrMo, but it behaves very differently from its close relatives. And, the frame built with it is, of course, beyond comparison.
