Electric Car Parts Area Calling for Exhibitors!

 According to a forecast by HIS Global, the current number of electric cars worldwide is a scanty 9,500, but is expected to grow to 58,000 by the year 2011. Automobile manufacturers worldwide are actively devoting a large amount of resources to the research and development of electric cars. Furthermore, President Obama of the United States proposed that “there will be a million electric cars on the roads of the United States by 2015.” 

The German government also hopes to achieve the target of a million electric cars on the road by 2020. Both cases suggest that electric cars are indeed the future of the automobile industry. Inspired by the huge associated business opportunities, Taipei AMPA 2010 will see the addition of the Electric Car Parts Area and welcome suppliers of key electric car components involving electronics, electro-optics, and mechanical parts. The show is inviting the suppliers to come and be the first to reap the benefits of green business opportunities.

The 26th Taipei AMPA will take place at TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall on April 12~15, 2010. The show will be held in conjunction with the 5th Taipei International Automobile Electronics Show. For the purpose of keeping domestic firms up to pace with potential opportunities in the electric car market, the organizer TAITRA is adding a new Electric Car Parts Area to Taipei AMPA 2010. Taiwan’s technological capacity will be displayed in front of international buyers through its accomplishments in key electric car components, including lithium iron phosphate batteries and motor modules.

The main theme of the successful Taipei AMPA 2009 in April was ‘Rolling towards a Greener Future’. The show attracted 5,207 foreign buyers and 48,625 local visitors, which was a huge 22% increase on the previous year. This shows that Taipei AMPA, with its 25 years of history, has not only grown in the face of the global financial crisis, but is also the undisputed leader in auto parts and accessories exhibitions in Asia.
