From 21st to 24th February, Kielce Trade Fairs provided a venue for an exhibition at which almost 220 sports and outdoor companies displayed their products, using 8,000 square metres of exhibition space.

 

For 4 days, in the Kielce exhibition halls, sportswear collections were put on show, as well as the latest and most modern equipment. There were also products and services aimed at the promotion of healthy lifestyle – all these things to be used in the season 2008–2009. This trade show, being a B2B event, has turned out to be a major exhibition dedicated to this industry not only in Poland, but also at the European level. 

 

KIELCE SPORT - ZIMA brought together exhibitors who had previously presented their products at two sports fairs, i.e. organized in Kielce by the Summit company and in Cracow - by the Góry publishing. 

 

From this year onwards, KIELCE SPORT - ZIMA will constitute a fair event organized jointly by Kielce Trade Fairs, the Summit company, and the Góry publishing house. 

 

KIELCE SPORT - ZIMA is dedicated to producers, distributors and sales representatives who are enthusiastic about the same industry - sport. This event enabled them to establish new contacts, exchange experience, review their co-operation, and extend their databases.

 

Thousands of pairs of ski and trekking boots, hundreds of helmets, goggles, in addition to sportswear - these are some of the products displayed at exhibition stands prepared by companies such as Alpina, Atomic, Giro, Diverse, and Wolf Gang Polska.

 

In addition to the exhibits, which attracted considerable attention of the visitors, a sportswear fashion show was prepared. Female models presented collections to be used in the season 2008-2009: outerwear, headgear, scarves, socks, and shoes produced by companies such as Atomic, Badura, Margot, Hannah, JJW, Nord Blanc, Tresspas. We became convinced what we should wear not only to look fashionable, but also to feel comfortable.

 

A new element of the WINTER SPORT 2008 fair was a four-day rollerblading event held in a skatepark, which was specially prepared by Techramps. Except for times of rollerblading and skateboarding shows given by Poland's best performers, the skatepark was open to the fair visitors.

 

The Kielce fair was also visited by Piotr Gruszka, captain of the national volleyball team, the coach of which is Raúl Lozano. He has been in the national team for 12 years, having taken part in all tournaments held as part of the World League. He was the leader of the team which won the World Junior Championships in 1997. The meeting with Piotr Gruszka attracted crowds of volleyball fans.

 

The best products exhibited during the KIELCE SPORT - WINTER fair were honoured with awards of distinction and medals. 

 

The organizers of the sports fair have already started preparing another winter event, but before, i.e. in August, the KIELCE SPORT - SUMMER fair will be held, with its range of products being extended by a FITNESS parlour.
