| Description | GREAT SATISFACTION FOR THE RESULTS OF FLORMART An appointment which, despite the crisis, remains unaltered in its ability to combine the commercial requirements of the exhibitors with the need for innovative proposals and the generation of new opportunities for Nursery Gardening.
Greater attention was given to indoor environments, to children and to plants used in the designing of infrastructure, in an edition of Flormart/Miflor marked by a strong denominator: plants for improving quality of life. Among the main titles of the congress programme: “High-Tech Green. High-tech nature and landscape”, an International convention organized by PadovaFiere in collaboration with PAYSAGE; “The Garden Center Crisis” organized by GreenLine, in cooperation with John Stanley Associated. “GreenRail: the transport of plants by rail is now a reality”, convention organized by FloraHolland in collaboration with the FloraCulture International magazine.
FLORMART FOR FOREIGN COUNTRIES In this edition of Flormart/Miflor, 200 exhibitors participated from 23 countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Iceland, Israel, Latonia, Norway, New Zealand, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, the USA, and Vietnam. The interest in the event was confirmed likewise by the presence of foreign journalists who appreciated the compactness, the concentration and the layout of the various sectors of the show. The following foreign journals participated: “Zahradnictvi a FloristiKa” (Czech Republic) “G’Plus” (Germany), “Kerteszet es Szoleszet” (Hungary), “FloraCulture International” (USA), “Haslo Ogrodnicze” (Poland), “Jardins” (Portugal), “Nieskuchny Sad” (Ukraine). There was a significant presence of official missions coming from companies as well as associations, guests of Flormart/Miflor, who were able to take part in the majority of proposals that made up the bill of events. A few official missions, made up of sector buyers, were invited in cooperation with the ICE - Institute of Foreign Commerce; other delegations were invited in collaboration with a few Foreign Chambers of Commerce. The buyers came from 10 countries: Czech Republic, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates, France, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary. Previously informed, all exhibitors had the possibility of making contact with the foreign delegates in a series of organized business appointments at both the stands and the Meeting Point, an area specifically set up to welcome the foreign delegations. |
