JAPAN'S LARGEST GARDEN & EXTERIOR SHOW
The 4th International Garden Expo Tokyo (GARDEX) is Japan's leading garden industry trade show to return to Makuhari Messe, Japan from October 28-30, 2010 together with Asia's largest flower show, the 7th International Flower Expo Tokyo (IFEX).
In addition, the 2nd International Exterior Expo Tokyo (EXTEPO) will launch this year, giving further dimension to this already well established show. The launch of EXTEPO was in response to requests from industry professionals for a trade show specifically focusing on the growing outdoor living and building product markets, and its addition will boost these shows to its largest scale ever with a total of 870 exhibitors from 30 countries. The combination of these shows ensures a wider range of exhibits and increased trade attendance thus creating new business opportunities for both exhibitors and visitors.
NEW ZONES at GARDEX Adds Diversity
With emphasis on food safety and with more people choosing to spend time at home during economically rough times, kitchen gardening has seen a great surge in followers. Hence the "Kitchen Garden Zone" will debut at GARDEX under much anticipation, attracting exhibitors of whom either already industry giants or newcomers looking to expand their business into this promising sector. The "Garden Accessories Zone" will also add excitement and fun by displaying a selection of colorful and high-design garden accessories such as garden shoes, gloves, and tools which are not only useful for gardening but also make great gifts and interior accessories. Also, over 40 new companies will participate in the "Hardware & Power Tools Zone", and exhibits will include products such as high quality scissors produced by skilled Japanese craftsmen and garden hardware by overseas brands such as Wolf-Garten and Gardena.
