20 years ago, the beginnings of Neece lay hidden in Taiwan’s best educational institution, National Taiwan University.Benjamin Wang, the founder of Neece, was studying in the graduate school of the Horticulture Department of National Taiwan University. What he was studying was orchids.
After he left the army, Benjamin spent two years in the Taipei Gardening Company learning international trade and four years in the Integrated Agricultural Company studying management. He built up professional knowledge of quarantine procedures and the quarantine regulations of different countries. He learned how to communicate with Customs and negotiate with the Bureau of Quarantine. He even learned the details of agricultural management in a company which was producing Phalaenopsis, such as growth regulations for orchid seedlings, environment control of greenhouses, the use of fertilizer and pesticides, and marketing and production planning. This store of experience and knowledge has given Benjamin mastery of all the characteristics of the Phalaenopsis genus.
All this preparation nurtured the rich soil in which Neece began to grow.
