Chung Cheng Scissors offers a wide assortment of garden shear products including hand pruners, tree pruners and long reach pruners. The company has developed specialized versions of their products to meet market requirements in Europe, Japan, America and Asia so all kinds of users can find shears with just the right grip and feel. In order to save effort and raise efficiency, Chung Cheng Scissors adopts ergonomic concepts in their product design. Sales Manager Ralph Liu pointed out that ergonomically designed shears improve comfort, safety and efficiency and prevent occupational injury. For the newly enhanced shear just introduced by the company, attention was focused on optimizing the handles, cutting head and grip angle. The goal was to reduce the discomfort felt by professional users as well as extending the lifespan of the product. 
 

With respect to shear materials, styling and functionality, all products from Chung Cheng Scissors pass through rigorous enhancement and testing, use top quality Japanese steel and are 100% manufactured in Taiwan. Exports make up most of the company’s business and Japan is their no. 1 market comprising about 40% of sales. Europe and the United States each make up at 15% and Southeast Asian countries represent about 15%~20% of total sales. Ralph Liu explained that the gardening shear business is quite seasonal and there are large swings between peak and off-peak seasons. However, Chung Cheng Scissors has customers all around the world so production can be flexibly allocated to different markets. As for sales, company orders have grown steadily even when raw material prices were soaring and the global financial crisis hit. Ralph Liu remarked that agricultural market demand has not declined during this economic recession. Due to the tight economy, customers are become more concerned about quality. Since Chung Cheng Scissors offers top quality products, people are looking for a name they can trust in these extraordinary times which have allowed sales to climb steadily upward.  

In the future, Chung Cheng Scissors will continue to focus on serving the customer and make further progress towards customized products, brand development and ODM manufacturing. In addition, the company plans to diversify into electrical powered products in order to provide more outstanding gardening tools that benefit the world of gardening.
